Food Pantry
As a part of the food pantry you will not only have opportunity to organize and put boxes of food together for needy families, but more importantly you’ll be able to meet them face to face, get to know them, and have a Gospel conversation with them. Our hope is not only to meet their physical needs, but their spiritual needs as well. For more information contact Jess Strenth at [email protected]. Dauphin Way Mission Trip to Central Florida
We have a great opportunity to partner with an incredible ministry in Leesburg, FL the week of October 4-10. Christian Care Ministry is an evangelistic ministry of First Baptist Church Leesburg, FL that began in 1985 and has grown to include eight different ministries that serve those who have the greatest needs. These ministries require hundreds of volunteers weekly, and we will provide for some of those volunteers. We also will host an outreach event for homeless families in the area. For more information about the ministries of the Christian Care Center, go to https://www.christiancarecenter.org. For more information about the trip, talk with Keith or Jeremy after either of the services this Sunday. Or you can call the church office or email [email protected], and we will talk with you about how you can participate.
Christmas Backpack Project
The Children’s Ministry’s Christmas Project this year is the Christmas Backpack Project through the Alabama WMU. Backpacks will be distributed through compassion ministry sites and church plants in at least 4 states. Alabama Baptists are challenged to provide 12,000 filled backpacks, bringing the Gospel to many who have never heard.
If you would like to participate, you need to start with a new, zippered backpack, fill it with new gifts based on the age/gender you choose, pray for the child who will receive the backpack, turn in the backpack at the Children’s check in desk or the church office starting Sept. 29th and nolater than Oct. 27th.
For a list of suggested items for ages, click on the link below and open the How to Pack button.

Matamoros Virtual Shoeboxes
Help support the Go and Tell Ministry in Matamoros again this year with a “Virtual Shoebox”.
Missionary Mary Yarbrough will not be able to pick up the physical shoeboxes again this year due to travel restrictions. Instead of packing a physical shoe box, you can donate $15 per virtual shoebox, and we will send the money directly to the ministry in Matamoros. You can write a check payable to Dauphin Way Baptist Church or pay online and make sure to note it is for Matamoros. They were able to meet many needs last year with your generous donations!
Thank you for supporting our missionary in Mexico!
