Dr. Mike Wiggins will begin as Interim Pastor of Dauphin Way Baptist Church on October 1st. Mike Wiggins was saved and called to ministry in July, 1974. He graduated from Mobile College in 1979, received his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1982, and his Doctor of Ministry from Mid-American Baptist Theological Seminary in 2000. He has served as a senior pastor over 40 years and recently retired fromPine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton, FL.Mike has been active serving on committees in his local and state of Florida associations, and has served on committees in the SBC.Mike and his wife Cindy married in 1975 and they have two children. Cindy is a retired elementary school teacher.Their daughter, Michaela, is a teacher and is married to Michael Bush and they have two children. Their son, Chayce, is a captain in the USMC and a pilot, is married to Ashley, and they have one child.
